Direct CSP

Microsoft CSP Licensing for US and Canada Businesses

A direct Cloud Solution Provider sells Microsoft subscriptions into your tenant and stays on the account for billing and partner support. The tenant itself remains yours.

What moves onto one agreement

TRUE.org is that partner for small businesses and nonprofits in the United States and Canada. We license Microsoft 365 business plans, Enterprise plans you already hold and want moved, Copilot when the base license qualifies, Teams Phone, Dynamics 365 apps, and Azure subscriptions. One agreement can hold all of them. A credit card in the admin center, a different reseller on each product, and an Azure invoice from somewhere else is the situation we usually replace.

We do not buy licenses you cannot assign. If a SKU will not attach because of country, a seat minimum, or a missing base license, we say so before the order. If you later leave, the users, the mail, and the files do not come with us. What changes when you join, and what changes when you leave, is who invoices the licenses and who can open a partner support request with Microsoft on your behalf.

Monthly terms, annual terms, and nonprofit offers

Most seat-based products can be monthly or annual. Monthly is the flexible count, and it is usually priced higher per seat. Annual commits the seat for the term. Azure is not a seat product. It is consumption, billed for what the subscription uses. We will not put a rate card on this page. You get a quote for the SKUs and the term after we see the tenant and the country.

For a nonprofit, the quote waits on Microsoft's eligibility decision when you want those offers. We provision nonprofit SKUs only after approval, and only for the products on Microsoft's list that month. A commercial license is available either way. We label each line so a donated offer, a discounted offer, and a commercial offer are not mixed together in one sentence.

How an order happens, and what it does not include

You send the tenant domain, or you tell us there is no tenant yet. We confirm the global admin and the billing country. We send the SKUs, the term, and the seat count in writing. You approve it. We provision into the tenant and assign seats to named people, not to a pile of unused licenses. A renewal reminder is part of the work, because an annual term that renews at a headcount you no longer have is how small organizations overpay. Later seat changes are an email to support@true.org. A typical reply is one business day.

CSP licensing is not a lock on your data, and it is not a promise that every Microsoft product is discounted. It is also not a substitute for setup. A license does not migrate mail, build an auto attendant, turn on multi-factor authentication, or configure Business Central. We do that work, scoped beside the subscription. If all you want this month is the subscription moved onto our agreement, we can do only that.

Questions we answer before a quote

Do we lose our tenant if we change partners later?

No. The tenant is yours. Mail, files, and users stay. The partner of record for billing is what changes.

Can monthly and annual seats exist together?

Often yes, depending on the product. We will say which of your SKUs allow a mix, and we will not put a person on an annual term if you expect to remove that seat in a month.

Will you quote before seeing the tenant?

We can tell you the shape of the plan. The amounts wait until we see the tenant, the country, the term, and any nonprofit approval. We do not post prices here.

Does the CSP agreement include migration and training?

Only when we scope them. Moving the billing and moving the mail are different jobs. Say which one you want in the form.

Send the tenant and what you need.

Same form as the top of this page. It goes to support@true.org. Include the domain if you already have a tenant.
