Our mission

Official Microsoft cloud for nonprofits, charities and schools.

The nonprofit programs on this website belong to TRUE ORG CLOUD, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN 85-1646464). Our mission is to help mission-driven organizations understand, set up and safely use official Microsoft cloud, so more of their time and money goes to the people they serve.

What the nonprofit does

Help with Microsoft nonprofit offers

We explain the grants and discounts Microsoft publishes for nonprofits, help an organization prepare the request, and set up the tenant after Microsoft decides. Microsoft approves or declines. We never describe a commercial seat as a grant.

Free technology assessment

Nonprofits, charities and schools can ask for a free review of their Microsoft 365 tenant: eligibility, security, migration readiness, devices and training needs. There is no charge and no purchase is required.

Safe setup and staff training

Secure tenant setup and plain training on Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and Copilot, so small teams with volunteers can use the tools they already have without a commercial reseller in the middle.

How proceeds support our mission

Donations on true.org/donate and pay.true.org go to TRUE ORG CLOUD and support its charitable programs: help with Microsoft nonprofit offers, secure setup, and staff training for nonprofits, charities and schools.

The free technology assessment has no charge and does not require a purchase.

TRUE ORG CLOUD does not use its advertising to sell to businesses. Microsoft licensing and paid IT services are provided by Acumor Solutions LLC, doing business as TRUE.org, a for-profit company and Microsoft partner (Cloud Solution Provider). Those services are not part of the nonprofit’s programs.

Microsoft decides who is eligible for its nonprofit grants and discounts. TRUE ORG CLOUD does not award grants, and it does not resell donated licenses.

Who we serve

Registered nonprofits, charities, faith-based organizations and schools in the United States and Canada. If Microsoft would not treat an organization as a nonprofit, we say so plainly. Questions go to hello@true.org.

TRUE ORG CLOUD is recognized by the IRS as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (determination letter dated December 23, 2022).
